Location

Vleesbaai is a private beach village situated on the Garden Route, approximately 35 km by road towards the west of Mossel Bay. It can be accessed on tarred roads from Mossel Bay by driving west on the N2 national highway and turning off onto the road to Gouritsmond. Alternatively, it can be accessed by driving east from Albertinia on the N2 and turning off onto the road to Gouritsmond. There are two dirt roads that offer a more direct route from the N2 to Vleesbaai, but although they are shorter, the tarred roads offer more comfort. The nearest airport is George Airport, 70 km to the east of Vleesbaai on the N2 highway between Mossel Bay and George
